Thank you to all our participants and speakers for making the recent 6th GRSP Asia Seminar and iRAP workshop in Manila a successful one.

This year’s seminar brought together more than 150 participants from all over Asia and other regions. We hope the seminar benefited all our participants as well as provided the opportunity to build and strengthen networks for future planning and implementation of road safety initiatives.

In line with the theme ‘Targeting Vulnerable Road Users’, we hope the seminar has inspired everyone to start or continue the year with more road safety initiatives. The Second United Nations Global Road Safety Week which will be held from 6 – 12 May 2013 is dedicated to Pedestrian Safety and this would be an ideal platform for us all to embark or strengthen our initiatives to improve safety for pedestrians and all vulnerable road users.

Together we can save millions of lives.

GRSP is a hosted programme of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) that brings together governments, governmental agencies, the private sector and civil society organisations to make a difference in road safety in low and middle income countries.
