The upcoming workshop offers an opportunity to understand and be informed on iRAP’s global activities. Participants will be presented with the results of various Road Assessment Programmes in the Asia Pacific Region and receive briefings on technical developments and plans for the Decade of Action for Road Safety.

This one-day event will also feature the much-anticipated presentation of the iRAP Asia Pacific Star Performer Award 2010. As with previous years, the workshop will undoubtedly present excellent opportunities to share road safety knowledge and experiences.

The workshop will include:

• an update on iRAP's global activities
• presentations from Road Assessment Programmes in the Asia Pacific region
• briefings on technical developments, including the Global Technical Committee
• discussions on the integration of iRAP into Development Bank projects
• consideration of plans for iRAP during the Decade of Action for Road Safety
• presentation of the iRAP Asia Pacific Star Performer Award for 2010.
